Andy was my main supervisor during my PhD journey. My works would be enough to describe how nice he was with me. I am came from abroad but I have not felt lonely with him and his group. He was not just good at his career but he was an absolute human. He was kind and sympathetic and whatever I asked him he always reply with smile and optimism. I will miss him for sure. My condolences to his family specifically his wife and kids.
