All at the Institute of Genetics and Cancer, University of Edinburgh, were saddened to learn of the untimely death of Dr Andy Sims on 14th May 2021. Andy was an outstanding researcher in cancer bioinformatics, an accomplished teacher and mentor and a valued colleague and friend. Our thoughts are with his family, including his wife and children of whom he was so proud.

This site was set up to allow colleagues and collaborators, near and far, to pay tribute to and share memories of a fantastic researcher, mentor and teacher.
