Tribute to Andy Sims

I only knew Andy slightly, as an external advisor on one of the thesis committees I chaired. I was impressed by his genuine interest in the student and enthusiasm for their project, and his generous offers of help and support, as well as his intellectual insight. I am shocked to hear of his untimely death.
