You know, there are some impressive people who see in you what you cannot see for yourself. From someone who believes 'you can' — even if circumstances dictate otherwise. Andy was one of those people in my life.

I met Andy over a year and a half ago, but always I had good memories with him. I remember the interview day, the first day we met, he had that lovely smile on his face and his effort to pronounce my name. I knew he would be a great supervisor and an inspiration to me, and I wasn't mistaken. I also remember, in one of our last meetings he said to me "I am afraid I won't be able to see your graduation".  But I am glad I was able to tell him that I was always happy to be under his supervision.  


I am so grateful for your knowledge and the support I needed so much. I will really miss you Andy..
