Andy was a talented scientist and mentor but one thing I admire that sets him apart from others is his community spirit. Willing to step up, to help, to connect people and never explaining how busy he was even though he must have been inundated. I realised this was part of his life outside work too, when we ran into each other in his role of Parent Council chair for the school of his children. He was one in far more than a million and his legacy will live on, in cancer research and in our own Institute. Thank you Andy.
